The seven sins are listed from 1 being the biggest to seven being the smallest
1. Deception - Self explanatory. Ie, fraud
2. Persuasion - Basically manipulating you to buy into what they are selling.
3. Assurance - When companies assure you that there is nothing wrong with their product which sometimes is misleading
4. Salvation - How some products make you believe that this product will prevent such and such.
5. Creation - Best example, how advertisements say they work better than another product. And say you really need this product
6. Ommission - Where they leave out key information. For example healthcare
7. Addition - Where rep's want to add more to what you were initially wanting to buy

Gee, sounds like just about every retail company I have ever worked for (and some of them are now long gone)......every company does MOST of those.......its up to the consumer to pick out the real information from the 'sins'.....
